The Finance Manager is responsible for the day-to-day running of the Finance
function and implementing the strategy and direction for the function, as provided by the Executive Director and Finance Committee. In addition, therole shall identify and implement systems, polices and processes for the Finance function which will improve financial monitoring, accountability, and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of and reporting on monthly/quarterlyfinancial and management reporting
• Preparation of annual accounts for audit and annual statutory reporting
• Management and ultimate responsibility for the FinanceSoftware (Tally)
• Oversee and monitor the day-to-day financialoperations such as payroll, inventory monitoring and management, invoicing, and other transactions
• Complete tax returns and other statutory compliance requirements
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting and analyticalsupport and advise Executive Director arid the Finance Committee.
• Guide and coach department heads and managers toenhance financial literacy, including guidance with compiling program budgets and forecasting.
• Develop, implement, and monitor appropriate financial systems, procedures, and internal controls to support the efficient and effective operation of the Finance function
• Performing ad hoc analysis pro-actively or asdirected, to provide performance insights that
  aid growth and focus appropriate resource allocation

Accountability:

The Finance Manager is accountable to the General Manager in the fulfilment of requirements outlined in this job description. As is the case with all staff, ultimate accountability is to the
CEO and Board.

Key Selection Criteria Essential:

• Degree qualified in commerce, business, or accounting
• ICAG Qualification is a plus.
• Experience managing the annual audit and preparingannual financial statements
• Strong knowledge of Tally accounting software and MSExcel
• Demonstrated experience in managing a small-to-medium organization’s accounting, tax, and statutory compliance requirements
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated experience of working collaboratively and influencing across multiple stakeholder groups
• Self-starter with the ability to work with limited supervision
