The Ireland Government Scholarship for 2023 is finally open for applications. People of all nationalities who want to pursue a Postgraduate programme (Master’s or PhD in Ireland) can do so with equal opportunity.
The Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation, and Science is funding this scholarship.
This scholarship will cover for One – Four years depending on the type of program the student may be pursuing.
Requirements:
- With the exception of research world related to the treatment of gonad cancer, which may be funded, the Irish Research Council is not in a position to grant funding for research activity in any of the following prohibited areas:
- Human cloning for reproductive purposes
- Genetic modification of people that could make such changes heritable
- Creation of human embryos solely for the purpose of research or for the purpose of stem cell procurement
Scholarship Benefits:
- Scholarship recipients will receive a living stipend of €18,500 per year
- You will enjoy an annual contribution to fees, up to a maximum of €5,750, including non-EU fees; and
- Annual allowable direct research expenses of €3,250.
