Dancehall musician Charles Nii Armah Mensah, better known by his stage name Shatta Wale, has refuted statements that no Ghanaian performer is capable of packing the O2 Arena for a live concert.
Shatta Wale believes he can fill the O2 Arena easily and hands down.
In an interview with Personality Profile on Joy FM on Thursday, Dennis Tawiah, CEO of Akwaaba UK Group, asserted that no Ghanaian performer could fill the 20,000 space at the O2 Arena.
Shatta Wale is confident he can reach this objective. He claims that because Dennis Tawiah does a one-man show, such a feat cannot be accomplished by a one-man show promotion.

He clarified that all artists who have accomplished this feat did it through teamwork and collaboration, not through individual promotion.
“It is teamwork…It is a company that is working so if Dennis, Alodia and all those people cannot get themselves attach to those companies to work then this is the words that will come out of his mouth because me, Shatta Wale I believe if I get a Live Nation behind me I can sell O2.”
Such comments, he said, drive the Ghanaian music business to its knees.
