Responsibilities:
Business Development
- Look for new business, follow up on it, and strengthen current business relationships with customers while trying to make as much money as possible.
- Help make a business case for new possibilities, including the business model, how it fits with policy, and what the biggest risks are.
- Make sure that commercial proposals and purchase orders meet the technical and business needs of the client and keep track of this.
- Keep an eye on and handle change orders, and let clients know about them.
- Give both proactive and reactive customer service based on how customers buy and use services.
Bidding & Tenders
- Coordinate bid/tender processes, from the first time a chance is looked at to the time a bid is made and presented.
- Give regular talks to the leadership team about how to win bids and proposals and how to position yourself to do so.
- Is in charge of coordinating Project Services, which includes putting out bids, doing expert evaluations, writing reports, and making suggestions.
Project Management
- Plan and carry out day-to-day interactions between projects you’re working on and linked fields.
- Take part in key customer meetings and reviews when needed.
- During project execution, give internal and external partners advice on how to meet project goals.
- Giving technical help to make sure that Ghanaian local content is used as much as possible in upstream oil and gas services.
- Keep an eye on PC problems, comments, and deliverables to make sure PC problems are dealt with quickly and well.
Qualifications:
- Engineering degree.
- Certification in project management is a plus.
- 10 years’ experience in oil and gas.
- Position held before in order of importance, Onshore/Offshore. Support Engineer, Maintenance engineer, maintenance planner, and project engineer.
