Bawumia Insists the NPP Government has Lessened the Suffering of Ghanaians

Ghana’s Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has emphatically stated that, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo and the NPP government have brought down the suffering of Ghanaians.

This is considering  their judicious use of the country’s resources to manage and grow the economy.

As claimed by the Vice President, the New Patriotic Party’s Intervention has been the best.

They have prudently addressed certain challenges that existed during the reign of the New Democratic Congress(NDC).

According to Dr. Bawumia, on the 7th of December 2017, the president promised to rebuild the nation.

He addressed problems like the depreciation of the Ghana Cedi and the lack of economic growth.

He declared that, though the NPP has not been able to eliminate the challenges entirely; they can proudly point to specific policy interventions that have alleviated the  suffering of many Ghanaian citizens.

Facts they can Proudly Point Out According to Bawumia

Demonstrating that he and his government have indeed implemented policies that have reduced the agony of Ghanaians, he listed some social interventions like the introduction of the Nation Builders Corps (N.A.B.C.O), recruiting people into the security services, employing nurses and teachers, restoring nursing and teacher trainee allowances, employing citizens through the Youth Employment Agency, Industrial development through the one district one factory program (1D1F), Free Senior High School, abolition of numerous taxes, employment opportunities for the disabled at toll booths, Coronavirus alleviation Packages (Covid-19 alleviation packages) just to mention but a few.
